Located in the Central Andes, the Cordillera Huayhuash provides Trekking routes between emerald lakes and several six-thousand meter peaks. We undertook the alpine route individually which oblidged us to carry a backpack with around 15 kilogramms each containing all gear and food for nine days. The tour made us walking 125 kilometers, 15,000 meters of altitude and some five-thousand crossings.
